It has finally happened. The weather is so cold that my apartment is starting to freeze over.

I bought a couple of movies today just to find out that my DVD player is broken. It's nothing too serious, the only problem seems to be that the hatch won't open. If I knew the first thing about electronics, I might be able to fix it. I haven't used it in ages... I wonder how long it has been like that.

God, I hate theoretical math. It's kind of hard to learn something when your brain keeps filing everything you are being told under "useless" or "unimportant". Just give me my calculations and I'll be happy.

Today I had a staring contest with a fish. The fish won.
I also saw a pizzeria called "Turtles". That was awesome.
Tietomaa is a fun place to visit once in a while, but it gets kinda boring after a couple of hours. And they had removed the animating machine thing :(
Still, my trip to Oulu was pretty fun.

I used to think I'm fairly good at math. That was before I was introduced to vectors. Nasty confusing evil VECTORS! And I'm going to have to use the little buggers in physics, too! Garrgh. Why do I want Disgaea 3 so much all of a sudden? I didn't a moment ago, damnit! The main character's geeky look is kinda cool but seriously, wtf? And we're not buying PS3 anytime soon, so I couldn't play it anyway ( Read more... )

So I'm back from Oxford and I've got something to tell you: British food and weather are bloody awful! Apart from that, the trip was quite alright. Thre was lots of thing to take photos of. I don't think my English is much better, though.
